My passion and expertise are in creatively
applying technology for teaching and learning. My specialty is leading
highly effective teams and partnerships in developing training media to
support improved performance. I'm an experienced performance consultant,
trainer and instructional designer, a skilled collaborator, and an
excellent writer and presenter.
PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
- I developed the award-winning training plan and strategy for mapping
nearly 55,000 learners into 68 role-based curricula covering 360 online
courses for Catholic Health Initiative's ICD-10 initiative.
- I designed and developed over 200 multimedia web-based courses,
including academic, compliance, and professional development topics.
- I produced the microvideo series "Documentation Excellence: By
Physicians, For Physicians," in which physician leaders recorded
five-minute highly focused instructional videos used across the
enterprise.
- I was a pioneering user of social networking and
computer-mediated communication for education. I have given over 30
presentations on online learning both in the US and abroad.
- I orchestrated the shift from a self-contained multimedia
eLearning development house to an outsourcing project management team,
saving the company over $500,000 in production costs in two years. I
